Roto-Rooter is hiring an Excavation Technician/Laborer to perform residential and commercial excavations for sewer and water services. Responsibilities include excavations, pipe repairs or installations, and operating heavy equipment.

A strong focus on safety, with OSHA protocols and customer interactions, is required. The role requires hands-on excavation experience in both residential and commercial settings, a valid driver's license, and a CDL if applicable to the vehicle driven.

Qualifications

• Hands-on excavation experience in residential and commercial settings.
• Must have a valid driver's license; CDL may be required depending on vehicle.
• Current CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with trenchless water, sewer, and gas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety by following OSHA and company protocols.
• Interact with customers as needed.
• Perform excavation tasks and pipe repairs or installations.
• Operate excavation machinery (back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers) as required.
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches.
• Transport to job sites and operate service vehicle safely between sites.
