Job summary

Locke Building is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in excavation and ground-up projects. You will oversee bidding, excavation planning, crew and subcontractor management, and on-site project execution to ensure safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will have proven leadership, blueprints interpretation, and excellent communication skills, with a willingness to work long hours and travel to job sites within Oregon and nearby regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience actually running equipment.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork and site development.
• Proven ability to manage crews effectively.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and soil reports.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-first attitude.
• Willing to work long hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of excavation and site preparation projects.
• Manage subcontractors, equipment operators, and on-site crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress reports, adjusting schedules as needed.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to maintain quality control.
• Coordinate equipment logistics, material procurement, and site grading activities.
