Job summary

Baker Group is seeking a Mechanical Excavation Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects from planning to delivery. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure projects meet design specs, budgets, and schedules.

This role emphasizes on-site coordination, contract management, and maintaining the “Client for Life” relationship with customers across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Civil/Mechanical Engineering required.
• Five+ years of directly related experience.
• Construction knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Manage material, labor, and processes of mechanical projects.
• Purchase material, schedule work, estimate change orders, and contract sub-contractors.
• Execute assigned equipment projects and ensure profitability, on-time delivery, and scope compliance.
• Develop relationships with existing clients and pursue long-term revenue opportunities.
• Formulate design alternatives and solutions; provide conceptual estimates and cost studies.
