Job summary

Ruston Paving is seeking an experienced equipment operator for a busy construction site in North Carolina. You will operate excavator, grader, bulldozer, backhoe and other heavy equipment as part of paving crews and assist with material installation.

Prioritize safety, communicate clearly with team, and support schedule adherence. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in excavation or paving, a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one, and the ability to work outdoors in all

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an equipment operator.
• Site excavation and/or paving experience is required.
• Valid and/or ability to obtain an in-state driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator, grader, bulldozer, backhoe and other equipment as required.
• Assist grading or paving crews to install or remove materials.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Support safety and incident reporting procedures on site.
• Carry out duties with attention to project scope and schedules.
