Job summary

LeoTerra Development Inc. is looking for an experienced Equipment Operator – Grading in North Carolina. This position involves operating heavy machinery for site development projects, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and performing grading tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of grading experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand grade stakes and site plans.
• Experience with GPS machine control systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as dozers, motor graders, excavators, skid steers, and compactors.
• Perform rough and fine grading for building pads, roadways, and site development.
• Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans.
• Establish and maintain proper elevations and slopes.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Work closely with foreman, surveyors, and crew members.
• Maintain safe job site operations and follow OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with other site work as needed.
