Job summary

Roto-Rooter in New Jersey seeks Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. You will pursue pre-qualified leads provided by our field service technicians and call centers, selling sewer line repair solutions to residential and commercial properties.

The role includes performing camera assessments and quoting repairs using our pricing matrix to close deals. The position offers an uncapped earning potential with an average range of $50,000–$60,000 per year plus mileage

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to use handheld devices and MS Word/Excel; familiarity with Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not necessary.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for outside sales in in-home services; all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine root interruption or breakage.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver solutions.
• Provide competitive quotes using the pricing matrix and insurance guidelines and close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.
