Job summary

Corestaff Services is seeking Exam Proctors for Morning, Afternoon and Evening shifts to administer examinations and ensure room readiness. Candidates should have at least two years of college experience and be able to read and speak clearly before large groups of students.

Independence and collaboration are valued, with emphasis on punctuality, professional conduct, and strict adherence to exam rules and time limits. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• At least two years of college experience.
• Comfortable reading and speaking in front of large groups of students in a clear and articulate voice.
• Willingness to work independently in a room or collaborate with other proctors and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Punctuality and flexibility in scheduling.
• A strong willingness to take and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Administer examinations for students.
• Ensure the accuracy of exam materials in your assigned exam room, including the correct number of exams, scratch paper, exam books, and other necessary items.
• Prepare the examination room for students.
• Check student IDs and distribute exam materials.
• Provide clear and necessary instructions to students.
• Monitor the exam room while the examination is in progress to ensure prohibited materials are not being used.
• Ensure that students adhere to the time limitations of the exam.
• Collect all exam materials and return them to the designated office.
• Ensure the integrity and fairness of the examination process.
• Maintain "courteous control" in a professional manner while administering the examination.
• Enforcing examination rules when necessary and reporting potential honor code violations.
