Brown University is seeking an Exam Proctor to supervise required exams and uphold NBME testing standards in a hybrid, part-time role. The proctor will ensure proper computer setups and clear instructions for test administration, maintaining integrity throughout the testing process.
The position requires professionalism and a calm demeanor when working with anxious students, with a schedule of 2 hours per week in a flexible, on-site/hybrid environment at Warren Alpert Medical School.
An exam proctor oversees students who take required exams to help ensure academic integrity. They monitor that students do not breach exam protocol for the following: ensure that students take exams on appropriate computer with proper software, able to convey test instructions clearly, ensure that students only have water with them during exams, follow proper procedure when taking bathroom breaks and accurately exit the exam, when completed.
