Job summary

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a part-time Proctor at the Moultrie Campus to help maintain the integrity of exam environments by monitoring room conditions and test-taker behavior, coordinating with academic and administrative staff. Starting Hourly Pay: $20.00/hr.

This role requires participation in training, adherence to testing policies, attendance tracking, and clear reporting of incidents, with emphasis on discretion and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Establish physical presence and leadership in assigned testing location(s); move around the testing space at regular intervals.
  • Maintain a professional, orderly testing environment; conduct pre-, during-, and post-administration inspections.
  • Manage behavioral and technical situations; report incidents and violations.
  • Record and document attendance, review test-taker credentials.
  • Collaborate with administrators to monitor accommodation requirements for individuals or groups, as applicable.
  • Distribute and explain testing policies; address questions from test-takers; report policy violations.
  • Collaborate to ensure approved accommodations are in place during testing.
  • Monitor and communicate test start and end times.
  • Distribute and collect equipment and materials; report and resolve technical issues.
  • Attend staff meetings; complete required training.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
