Job summary

The Metropolit an Transportation Authority is seeking a Testing Specialist to develop, administer, and validate exams in support of employee selection and promotion. The role partners with multiple stakeholders across the agency and requires conducting job analyses at defined intervals.

The position resides on the People Team, with opportunities for telework (one day per week) and a full-time schedule. A BA/BS is required, with at least 2 years of related experience; master’s may substitute for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of full-time professional experience in management/methods analysis or related areas; master’s may substitute for two years.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and conduct testing analyses.

Responsibilities

• Create selection and promotion assessments including written, practical skills, physical abilities, and interviews.
• Administers small- and large-scale examinations with departments.
• Analyze test statistics, validation, and maintenance of testing records.
• Plan and implement testing strategies with stakeholders to meet hiring goals.
• Maintain professional environment and ensure MTA policies are practiced.
