New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) is seeking a Tests and Measurement Specialist, Level 3, to serve as Deputy Director of the Exam Development Group. The role involves supervising staff, guiding exam development, and coordinating with City agencies to ensure timely delivery of examinations and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include advanced degree with specific credits in tests/measurement and related areas.
• Additional pathways include partial master’s coursework with required credits or a bachelor’s degree plus two years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education/experience are acceptable per the postings' guidance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct reports and manage the exam development process.
• Provide guidance and coaching to staff, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent communication across the team and with peers.
• Lead projects and maintain project documentation.
• Oversee development and administration of examinations for NYC agencies.
• Proofread and approve Notices of Examination.
