Job summary

Coastal Forest Products in Bow, NH is seeking an EWP Sales Operations Specialist to coordinate daily quoting, order entry, and customer support within the Inside Sales team. You will partner with the EWP Design group to ensure accuracy, communicate delays, and prepare reports for forecasting and planning.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in inside sales or sales operations, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of inside sales or sales operations experience.
• Experience in the building materials or construction industry is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of engineered wood products is a plus.
• Strong customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports.
• Proficiency with CRM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track daily quoting and order entry activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Respond to inbound department calls and customer inquiries regarding products, orders, availability, and related information.
• Maintain internal plan documentation, entering and updating information, calculations, and other relevant details as needed.
• Communicate shipment delays or issues to customers and coordinate with internal teams to facilitate timely resolution.
• Prepare and distribute sales activity, order status, and other operational reports to Outside Sales Representatives and departmental stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, EWP Design, and Operations teams to support reporting, information sharing, and daily workflow coordination.
• Create and process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), ensuring accurate documentation and follow-through.
• Provide day-to-day operational and customer support to the EWP team, including sharing product knowledge and assisting with customer education as needed.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to coordinate complex orders and address customer-specific requirements.
• Assist with maintaining and updating departmental procedures, identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
• Prepare and provide the EWP Department Head with sales activity reports, forecasting updates, pipeline analysis, and lead-time information to support departmental planning and order management.
