Job summary

OPW is seeking a customer service and inside sales professional for our manufacturing-focused team. You will handle inquiries, support quotes and orders, and promote our fluid‑handling solutions while coordinating follow‑ups with the sales group.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in customer service within manufacturing, with ERP (Caelus) and MS Office skills, plus strong communication and multitasking abilities to thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate required; or years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years’ experience providing exceptional customer service and inside sales in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of compressed gas products is highly beneficial.
• Caelus or other ERP systems experience a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office – Outlook and Excel.
• Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Highly motivated team player with a passion to succeed.
• Strong self-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer inquiries via email, phone, or other means in a timely and professional manner.
• Support the sales team to ensure quotes and orders are accurate and complete.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards customers and promote products.
• Respond to inquiries and address customer concerns/complaints.
• Attend regular customer service meetings.
• Coordinate in‑house follow‑ups on quotations, proposals, and inquiries.
• Identify new sales opportunities within medical, specialty gas, fill plants and industrial markets.
• Follow up on new customer leads identified by management.
• Help retain the customer base and provide back‑up support to teammates.
