Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electronic Warfare/Radiofrequency Systems Maintenance Engineer for Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The role focuses on post-production evaluation, testing, and validation of RF and EW systems to ensure performance and readiness.

You will develop maintenance strategies, perform RAM analyses with MTBF/MTTR tracking, and conduct LORA to optimize repair and maintenance. Collaboration with engineering, logistics, and OEM teams is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Can be substituted for prior military experience or additional years or relevant working experience)
5+ years of experience as an Electronic Warfare Engineer
Expertise in Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis, maintenance planning, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and performance metrics such as MTBF and MTTR

Responsibilities

Develop and implement maintenance and sustainment strategies for fielded Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to maximize operational readiness, availability, and lifecycle performance.
Perform RAM analyses, including tracking MTBF and MTTR, to identify reliability trends and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct LORA to determine cost-effective repair, replacement, and maintenance approaches for EW components and subsystems.
Investigate equipment failures, review PQDRs, and coordinate with engineering, logistics, and OEM teams to resolve hardware issues.
Create, update, and maintain technical manuals, maintenance procedures, BOMs, and sustainment documentation to support field maintenance and lifecycle management.
