Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support Army EW research at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This full‑time role requires TS/SCI clearance and up to 25% travel to engage EOD/EWO personnel with ECM expertise.

You will evaluate RF/ECM technologies, conduct hardware‑in‑the‑loop and OTA testing, review intelligence reports, and develop testing strategies to counter threats while collaborating with technical staff in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 5 years experience as RF or EW Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of RF theory/technology.
• Experience in EW and RF testing.
• Experience using hand‑held and benchtop RF equipment (VSGs, AWGs, RTSA, oscilloscopes, analyzers, VNAs).
• Ability to present material to soldiers.
• Physical ability to present live‑fire scenarios on a military range.
• Ability to work with technical staff in high‑stress environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate RF/ECM tech to counter threats and analyze TTPs.
• Review intel to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
• Develop and test EW systems in HIL, OTA, and field ranges.
• Perform anechoic chamber and coaxial testing for ECM systems.
• Support RF/ECM testing and data collection.
• Assist in test plan and report writing; briefings on ECM performance.
