Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the EW team to rapidly iterate and scale production of electromagnetic warfare hardware. You will own parts of the manufacturing value chain, drive DFx for smooth NPI, and partner with design and quality teams to ensure high-quality, scalable production.

This role requires hands-on fabrication experience, strong continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to work with contract manufacturers.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical field such as engineering or hard science.
3+ years in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware.
Experience delivering electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
Experience with Harness or PCBA design review.
Hands-on hardware fabrication experience (soldering, SMT, harnessing).
Experience with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle ERP.
U.S. Person due to export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

Own manufacturing value chain including Assembly, Integration & Test for electromechanical assemblies.
Lead continuous improvement efforts and Kaizen events.
Collaborate with Product Quality Engineering to drive RCCA burndowns.
Provide DFx input for smooth NPI transitions.
Develop process flows and break down assemblies into subassemblies.
Write work instructions, quality plans, and inspection requirements.
Coordinate with contract manufacturers for quick-turn development and scaled production.
Work hands-on building prototype hardware.
Contribute to mechanical or electrical design including interconnects and board fabrication.
