Job Summary

This position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD, and potentially supports multiple NAVAIR Program Offices.This position is for an Electronic Warfare Engineering Analyst providing support to multiple EW products on tactical aircraft and Integrated Product Teams.This position will perform data analysis to support full life cycle efforts, from requirements development to sustainment, facilitate DMS resolutions, and provide support with Airworthiness documentation. This is a 100% direct labor position that will require intermittent travel within the Continental US.

Essential Job Functions

v Participate in completing documentation, support planning for engineering events and or studies to ensure the necessary, relevant data is collected to assess and enhance the Navy’s airborne electronic warfare capability

v Analyze data to determine relevant trends and provide actionable information for development of effective EW systems.

v Serve as EW subject matter expertise for NAVAIR Integrated Product Teams; brief team and larger EW community on system capabilities and employment.

v Participate in programmatic and technical reviews; assess risks to program success and recommend courses of action to the IPT lead based on risks and mitigation strategies

v Develop, assess, and recommend strategies for supporting and sustaining updated and modified EW system components, both hardware and software

Qualifications

v Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

v Fifteen (15) years’ experience in electronic warfare.

v Familiarity with structure and execution of DoD acquisition programs

v Strong Organizational and Project Management skills.

v Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, MS Project desired.

v Must have current Secret security clearance.
