Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an Electrified Powertrain EVSE D&R Engineer to own the design, release, packaging, and certification of EVSE for BEV and PHEV programs. This role requires proactive collaboration with vehicle program teams and suppliers to ensure compatibility with targets.

You will lead design reviews, manage CDS and DCR, support PPAP, and drive testing across vehicle programs with a focus on quality, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related degree.
• 3+ years of experience with electrical component design and release.
• Experience with CAD/CAE methods.
• Experience with quality documentation (DVP&R, P-diagrams, DFMEAs).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Leadership and stakeholder interaction capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead EVSE design, release, and testing for next generation electrified vehicles.
• Lead packaging and enclosure design with supplier partners.
• Coordinate features and deliverables with Applications team.
• Release core components in FEDE BOM and WERS and manage design changes.
• Manage CDS and DCR processes.
• Participate in Design Reviews and Worst-Case Circuit Analysis.
• Support PPAP elements and supplier visits.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to meet timing and delivery.
