Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking engineers to establish the foundation for product execution, safety strategy, and vehicle readiness in advanced EV battery systems. You will own release, BOM accuracy, cost impact, and supplier engagement for BMS assemblies.

Roles include program timing, design validation, and warrant y investigation, with some travel and hybrid work expectations in a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 7+ years of engineering experience with design and release accountability for production electronic hardware through launch.
• Experience with core quality documentation—DFMEA, DVPR, control plan, SCCAF.

Responsibilities

• Own part numbering, drawing and CAD release, BOM accuracy, and manufacturing alignment for BMS assemblies.
• Own cost, tooling investment, mass, packaging commitments; assess design change cost impact.
