Job summary

ChargerHelp! is seeking a Certified EVSE Technician in California to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair charging stations, ensuring they operate within design specs. You will document site reviews, perform preventive maintenance, and execute complex break/fix tasks using our CH!

mobile app. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical field service experience, strong communication skills, and a drive to operate at the intersection of hardware and software diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 3–5 years of field technician experience as a licensed electrician.
• Completion of ChargerHelp! Training on onboarding.
• Preferred OSHA 10/30 certification or NFPA 70E safety training.
• Proven ability to document work orders accurately and completely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and service electrical charging infrastructure using a range of tools.
• Measure charging infrastructure performance and complete driver experience inspections via the CH! app.
• Maintain real-time documentation of repairs, software troubleshooting, and site status updates.
• Ensure services are delivered on time and within scope; escalate risks as needed.
• Represent ChargerHelp! at client locations with professional conduct and communication.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize project risks for the technician and the public.
• Attend CH! training sessions to stay current on EVSE technology.
