Job summary

Pacific Power Solutions, LLC (PPS) is seeking a skilled Electric Vehicle Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electric vehicle charging infrastructure (EVSE). This full-time position requires travel between multiple sites in California, ensuring reliable performance at commercial charging locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairs of EV charging systems.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
• Ensure high system uptime and safe operations.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on EV charging stations.

Skills

Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Experience with EVSE systems

Knowledge of breakers and relays

Voltage and continuity testing

Low-voltage and communication troubleshooting

Education

2–5+ years in electrical field service

Electrical apprenticeship or trade school
