Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is seeking an EVS Training Manager for the 1st shift at University Health in San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on designing and executing a comprehensive training program, including hospital and department orientations, safety, infection control, and policy training.

You will collaborate with management to ensure timely execution and thorough follow-up. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lead training initiatives across shifts.

Qualifications

• Vaccination against COVID-19 is required unless medically or religiously exempt.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Maintain organization in a changing environment; exhibit initiative.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures; meet goals with available resources.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document new-hire initial training (hospital and department orientation).
• Coordinate small clinic/group trainings on safety, infection control, and hospital policies; train new hires and veterans.
• Develop cross-training, remedial, and Focus of the Week programs with the team.
• Support supervision/management development and department hospitality training.
• Prepare training documentation, binder outlines, and monthly activity reports.
• Collaborate with Regional Training Manager, HR, and site resources to stay current.
