Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. in McLean, VA is seeking a 1st shift EVS Training Manager to design and implement a comprehensive training program for new hires and ongoing staff across hospital service lines.

You will coordinate initial and ongoing training, document outcomes, produce monthly activity reports, and collaborate with Regional Training Manager and Corporate HR to stay at the leading edge of infection control, safety, and department policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
• Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Ability to meet established goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document all new-hire initial training to include hospital orientation, department orientation, and hands-on job training.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document small clinic/group training in learning fundamentals: MSDS, RACE, Infection Control, Body Mechanics, Safety, and related programs.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document cross-training and remedial training in one-on-one and small clinic formats.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document Focus of the Week programs.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document management development programs with the team.
• Prepare monthly reports of training activity and statistics.
• Liaise with Regional Training Manager, Corporate HR, and on-site resources to stay at the leading edge.
