Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois. Responsible for supervising Environmental Services and Linen staff, training, policy implementation and coordination of daily operations to ensure timely cleaning and safe, high-quality care environments.

The role includes scheduling, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and active participation in safety and care committees.

Competenze

Good supervisory skills in scheduling, planning, evaluating, training and coaching Environmental Services staff.
Strong communication skills and ability to handle conflicts constructively.
Excellent organizational and prioritizing abilities with attention to detail.

Mansioni

Observe and evaluate Environmental Services staff performance.
Train new associates and conduct department orientation.
Ensure adherence to department policies and procedures and new initiatives.
Coordinate staff assignments and deadlines, monitor bed/room cleaning for admissions and transfers.
Assist with safety rounds and infection control coordination.
Prepare schedules, assign tasks, and manage timecards and attendance.
