Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking an Environmental Services Lead (EVS Lead) for Advocate Christ Medical Center. The role is full-time, on-site, with a 40-hour workweek and a 1.0 FTE schedule, supervising EVS staff and coordinating daily operations.

Responsibilities include planning with supervisors, ensuring tasks are completed per EVS procedures, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; leadership experience preferred.
• 3 years experience; at least one in Housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Confers, plans ahead with supervisory staff on job assignments, projects and activities.
• Verifies completion of duties/tasks by Environmental Services staff according to EVS procedures.
• Assists in scheduling EVS staff and adjusts the daily schedule to ensure proper staffing.
• Functions as EVS Tech lead in Hazardous Materials, spills and disaster plans.
• Communicates with leadership about associate performance and issues.
• Maintains patient and departmental cleanliness and safety.
