Job summary

Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an EVS Shift Supervisor to support the Environmental Services department. You will supervise EVS I, Floor Technicians and Night Cleaners, oversee daily tasks, and ensure quality cleaning standards.

You will train staff, prepare evaluations, schedule shifts, and enforce safety policies while maintaining strong teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
• Basic PC skills preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English; knowledge of additional languages a plus.
• Must work harmoniously with co-workers and be a team player; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a working supervisor on EVS shifts, directing daily activities.
• Evaluates and ensures timely, quality performance; may amend or reject work.
• Prepares and issues employee evaluations.
• Plans day-to-day activities and assigns tasks with deadlines.
• Trains EVS staff in cleaning procedures and safety methods.
• Distributes tasks and provides instruction on new procedures.
• Maintains high standard of cleanliness per management standards.
• Maintains employee work schedules.
• Ensures proper handling of soiled linen and coordinates equipment repairs.
• Implements safety programs and communicates hazards to staff.
