Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift EVS Manager for Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming, MI. The role leads the Environmental Services team, coordinating with hospital departments to deliver top-tier cleaning and service standards.

You will oversee staffing, training, and quality assurance while upholding Xanitos' culture and performance goals. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage shifts; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Flexibility to work some differing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection process; schedule days off, holidays, vacations.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment usage.
• Ensure staff receives orientation, training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
• Discipline associates as needed following progressive guidelines.
• Prepare disciplinary reports and follow up as required with Department Director.
• Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Promote Xanitos' culture, values, and management philosophy.
• Meet performance plans through quality leadership.
