Xanitos, Inc. seeks a 1st Shift Environmental Services Manager to lead EVS associates near Walnut Creek, CA, coordinating with the Unit Director to deliver high-level service.

You will oversee staffing, orientation, training, discipline, and performance management while maintaining a clean, safe environment and promoting Xanitos’ culture. The role offers a salary range of $85,000–$90,000 with potential bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination required as a condition of employment, unless prohibited by law.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Management experience in EVS/Healthcare preferred.
• Strong service/quality attitude and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection; interview candidates and schedule days off.
• Assign personnel to work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage inventory and equipment.
• Ensure staff receive orientation, training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
• Discipline associates per progressive guidelines; prepare action notices.
• Prepare disciplinary reports and conduct follow-up investigations.
• Maintain sanitary, attractive, orderly environments.
• Promote Xanitos’ culture, values, and management philosophy.
• Meet performance plans with quality leadership.
