Job summary

Xanitos Inc. is seeking a 3rd shift EVS Manager for Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA. You will oversee Environmental Services staff, coordinate with the Unit Director, and ensure top-tier service across hospital operations.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, quality checks, discipline when needed, and maintaining a sanitary, attractive environment. Vaccination compliance and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Management experience required; EVS healthcare management preferred.
• Strong service/quality attitude and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection; interview candidates as needed.
• Schedule days off, holidays and vacations.
• Assign personnel to work areas or projects.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage inventory/equipment usage.
• Ensure staff orientation, training and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff; enforce progressive discipline.
• Prepare disciplinary reports and conduct follow-up investigations.
• Maintain sanitary, attractive and orderly environment.
• Promote Xanitos’ culture, values and management philosophy.
• Demonstrate leadership in meeting performance plans.
