Job summary

Xanitos Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift Environmental Services Manager in NorCal Bay Area to lead the EVS team and coordinate with the Unit Director to deliver high-quality service in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, QA checks, training, disciplinary actions, and maintaining a sanitary, orderly environment while upholding Xanitos’ culture and standards. Vaccination compliance is required for healthcare roles.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Healthcare EVS management experience preferred.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 as a term of employment unless legally exempt.
• Proficiency with Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection and interview candidates.
• Schedule days off, holidays, and vacations to meet account needs.
• Assign personnel to work areas or projects.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage inventory/equipment usage.
• Ensure staff orientation, training, and ongoing education.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
• Discipline associates per progressive discipline guidelines.
• Prepare disciplinary reports and conduct follow-up investigations.
