Xanitos, Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift EVS Manager for the Bay Area in NorCal to oversee Environmental Services staff under the Unit Director, ensuring top-tier service across hospital departments.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, staff development, and adherence to quality standards, with a focus on maintaining a sanitary and orderly environment and promoting Xanitos’ culture and values.

Qualifications

• Healthcare EVS management experience preferred.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 required as stated.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection, interview candidates, schedule days off and vacations.
• Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory and equipment use.
• Ensure proper orientation, training, and ongoing education for staff.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to maximize performance.
• Discipline associates per progressive guidelines and conduct follow-up investigations.
• Prepare disciplinary notices and conduct disciplinary meetings as required.
• Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Demonstrate Xanitos’ culture, values, and management philosophy.
• Lead in meeting performance plans with quality leadership.
