Job summary

Xanitos is hiring a Full-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for the 2nd shift at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. The role involves cleaning patient areas, restrooms, hallways and common spaces to maintain a sanitary environment across the health care campus.

Daily duties include polishing fixtures and surfaces, transporting waste, restocking supplies, and assisting with equipment movement. A High School diploma or GED is required, and vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is required.
• Experience in janitorial or medical cleaning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms.
• Sweep/vacuum floors and dust furniture and equipment.
• Washes walls, windows, and woodwork; restock supplies.
• Transport trash and small equipment; monitor safety and cleanliness.
