Xanitos, Inc. is hiring Part-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 1st Shift at UMH Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan.

The role involves cleaning and maintaining patient rooms and public areas on client premises, with responsibilities that may vary by account and client requirements. You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, have a high school diploma or GED, and pass post-offer medical screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination is required.
• Experience in janitorial work is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
