Job summary

Oaklawn Jockey Club seeks an EVS Attendant for part-time swing shift to maintain the cleanliness of the Casino & Resort interior and exterior. You will operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals safely while delivering friendly guest services.

Qualified applicants are 21+ with or without prior housekeeping experience; guest service experience is preferred, and you must perform physical EVS duties and interact professionally with guests and staff.

Always presents a friendly and professional image at the Hotel/Casino. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:* Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.* Mixes chemicals and operates carpet shampooer and buffer.* Moves furniture and cleans assigned area.* Maintains and cleans machines after use.* Provides excellent guest services, treating guests and team members with courtesy and consideration at all times.* Cooperates and communicates with all fellow team members, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude.* Maintains excellent working relationships with other departments and all applicable regulatory commissions and vendors as needed.* May be assigned to various venues throughout the property depending on business needs.* Follows established procedures and policies of the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
