Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks an Environmental Services Assistant Manager to supervise cleaning and sanitation at a long-term care facility. You will support the EVS Manager, train staff, and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and experience in environmental services; vaccination policies apply. On-site, with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities management is desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the environmental services team to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and supply/inventory.
• Conduct training sessions on cleaning techniques, safety, and infection control.
• Communicate operational needs and feedback with staff, residents, and management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies, including PPE usage.
• Perform quality inspections and provide feedback to team members.
• Represent HCSG positively with clients, residents, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
