Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Assistant Manager to oversee cleaning and sanitation at a Biloxi long-term care facility. Join a team dedicated to resident and staff comfort, compliance, and a safe, inviting environment.

Lead EVS staff, coordinate daily operations, train members on cleaning techniques and infection control, and ensure adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities management preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication, with ability to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise environmental services staff, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist the EVS Manager in overseeing daily operations of the environmental services team to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and infection control measures.
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and facility management regarding operational needs and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies, including PPE usage.
• Perform quality inspections of cleaning tasks and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, clients, residents, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
