Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant Manager to oversee cleaning and sanitation at a long-term care facility in West Point, Mississippi. You will support the EVS Manager and lead a team to maintain high cleanliness standards.

This role emphasizes staff training, safety, infection control, and record-keeping. You should have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to manage schedules, inventory, and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities management is desired.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EVS Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory.
• Conduct training sessions on cleaning techniques, safety, and infection control.
• Communicate with staff, residents, and management regarding needs and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies including PPE.
• Perform quality inspections and provide feedback to the team.
• Represent HCSG through courteous interactions with supervisors, clients, residents, and guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
