Job summary

York Container, an Atlantic Packaging Company, seeks a motivated EVOL OPERATOR to join our manufacturing team in York County, PA. You will lead an established work center, perform mechanical and computerized setup, and maintain production, quality, and safety standards.

Strong math, measurement, and English communication are essential. Qualifying candidates will have a High School diploma, 3+ years as a machine operator, and the ability to read order sheets and CAD instructions where applicable.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a machine operator in manufacturing.
• Corrugated experience preferred but not required.
• Exceptional mechanical ability and problem solving.
• Ability to read order sheets and CAD instructions when provided.
• Strong English communication and math/measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed work instructions and production orders for each run.
• Conduct scheduled quality checks at setup, start-up and during production.
• Perform purge sheets, quality checklists and data entry.
• Operate measuring equipment and interpret basic measurements.
• Act as team leader, train and motivate colleagues at the work center.
• Lift and prepare tooling related to equipment and maintain organized tooling.
