Job summary

York Container Co in York, PA is seeking a motivated Press Operator for the third shift (11 pm–7 am). You will assist the operator with setup and running the press, aiming to minimize downtime and deliver a quality product to customers.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and about two years of corrugated experience; the ability to use a tape measure is required. Safety, PPE and proper waste reporting are emphasized, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 2 years of corrugated experience or related field preferred.
• Must be able to use a tape measurer.

Responsibilities

• Assist the operator in the setup and running of the press, focusing on minimizing downtime.
• Limit scrap waste and report it accurately to the appropriate department.
• Pack products for shipment as specified for each order.
• Follow lock out/tag out procedures and safety policies.
• Read production orders and assist in ensuring quality during runs.
