Job summary

Kett Engineering Corporation seeks an EVOC Triage Engineer for our Palo Alto, CA operations. You will rapidly triage, track, and drive resolutions for fleet issues, blending data analytics with hands-on vehicle diagnostics to accelerate development and reliability growth.

On-site diagnostics using CANalyzer and CAN tools, with travel to remote locations as needed. You will be the central point of contact for drivers, technicians, and engineering teams—ensuring thorough data capture and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years in a fast-paced technical environment (auto, aerospace or hardware testing preferred).
• Strong Jira usage, workflow management and reporting.
• Deep understanding of vehicle systems; EV experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Triage and track new vehicle issues; use Jira to document priorities and root-cause requests.
• Gather detailed logs from test drivers; ensure diagnostic data is captured and linked.
• Create hardware issue tickets and coordinate parts routing for analysis.
• Serve as liaison between drivers, workshop, and engineering teams for rapid resolution.
• Maximize fleet uptime by managing repair tickets from inception to closure.
• Oversee OTA software updates; manually flash to verify issue resolution when needed.
