Job summary

Kett Engineering Corporation in Miami, FL is seeking an EVOC Triage Engineer to rapidly triage, track, and drive resolution of fleet issues across our EV program. This hands-on role blends data analytics with vehicle diagnostics using CAN tools, assisting test drivers and engineering teams to accelerate development and reliability.

You will manage Jira tickets, document logs, coordinate OTA updates, and travel to remote sites as needed to verify fixes and collect data for root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer/Automotive) required.
• Experience in a fast-paced technical environment preferred (automotive, aerospace, hardware testing).
• High proficiency in Jira for ticket creation, workflow management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Issue Triage & Tracking: document, prioritize, and assign new vehicle issues using Jira.
• Investigate & Document: collect logs and feedback, diagnose root causes from in-vehicle or dashboard data.
• Facilitate Failure Analysis: create tickets for hardware issues and manage parts logistics for analysis.
• Act as a Key Liaison: communicate between drivers, workshop/tech team, and engineering groups.
• Maximize Fleet Uptime: manage fleet schedule and repair tickets from start to finish.
• Coordinate Vehicle Updates: oversee OTA software updates and manual flashing when needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related technical field
