Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an EVMS Manufacturing Engineer 2/3 for the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory site near Rocket Center, WV. The role requires on-site work with no remote option, performs CAM duties, cost/schedule control, and cross-functional teamwork to support rocket motor manufacturing for DoD programs.

Qualifications include a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering degree, manufacturing experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to interpret drawings & specifications.
• Eligible to obtain U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Hands-on work readiness and ability to manage time/resources to meet schedule and cost goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design engineering on design and manufacturability issues.
• Evaluate discrepant hardware and support manufacturing processes.
• Research tools/equipment to support manufacturing; improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Prepare and present at government control account manager meetings; manage CAM duties.
