Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a detail-oriented Program Control Analyst to support Ocean Operations in Baltimore, MD. You will monitor budgets, schedules, and manpower, prepare forecasts, and ensure compliance with government contracting requirements, including EVMS processes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with EVMS, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for program management and finance teams in a DoD environment. Onsite work only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• Experience in program controls, cost analysis, or financial analysis within a government contracting environment.
• Familiarity with EVMS, cost and schedule integration, baseline management, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements and government contracting processes.
• Experience using Oracle, SAP, RPlan, Deltek Cobra or comparable systems.
• Proficient Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Integrate program scope, cost, schedule, and manpower data to support planning and performance reporting.
• Develop and maintain program budgets, staffing forecasts, ETC, and EAC with program managers.
• Analyze costs against budgets, investigate variances, and recommend actions.
• Prepare financial reports and management summaries on program performance and forecasts.
• Support EVMS reporting and cost/schedule performance indicators.
