About the role:

Our eVinci Technologies business line is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support eVinci manufacturing development and commercialization activities.

As a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, you will:
  1. Support the transition of eVinci from manufacturing development to test reactor and commercial manufacturing.
  2. Coordinate Design for Manufacturability activities, including design concept development, manufacturing process planning, and cost estimation for assigned components and systems.
  3. Coordinate and document MRL assessments, manufacturability reviews, and drawing/GD&T reviews to support eVinci design development.
  4. Support manufacturing, equipment, and facility development efforts, including scheduling and budgeting for assigned components and systems.

No sponsorship or relocation is provided. You will report to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing and be located at 51 Bridge Street, Pittsburgh, PA.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work with supply chain to coordinate technical discussions, gather manufacturability feedback, develop RFQs, and complete supplier assessments.
  2. Develop manufacturing requirements and specifications for vendor-procured equipment, collaborating with design and materials engineering.
  3. Create purchase requisitions for materials, products, and services.
  4. Create Commercial Grade Dedication Instructions (CDIs) with support from relevant engineering teams.
  5. Support Design to Value workshops and continuous improvement activities aimed at cost savings and process improvements.
  6. Develop and maintain equipment cost estimates to support eVinci cost modeling.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, or related engineering/technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and GD&T is desirable.
