JOB DESCRIPTION

MRB M&P Engineer

Responsibilities:

Member of a multidisciplinary engineering team, your skills in materials and processes will support aircraft programs.

The candidate will:

  • Create or modify technical content of M&P specifications to align with customer standards.
  • Assess environmental constraints regarding new regulated substances.
  • Provide M&P analysis for Client non-conformity requests.
  • Review drawings with M&P modifications.
  • Review, approve, and recommend on Transfer of Work projects.

In your role, you will:

  • Collaborate with M&P Engineers, providing timely recommendations for manufacturing and assembly issues.
  • Engage with the M&P engineering team offsite to resolve technical issues.
  • Support delivery teams and external customers with technical expertise.
  • Share technical knowledge across FAL sites.
  • Document analyses on M&P work files.

Requirements:

  • Engineering background with specialization in materials and processes.
  • Good interpersonal skills, rigorous, dynamic, autonomous, problem-solving ability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials and Processes Engineering with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of composite and metallic materials, processes (special processes, assembly).
  • Experience in aircraft programs is an asset.
  • Experience in qualification management, supplier management, test plans, and reports.
  • Knowledge of REACH regulation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Tools knowledge:

  • MS Office
  • CATIAV5
  • Knowledge of A2EMM-001, Eroom, Enovia, NCMS/HMS is an asset.

Location: Remote

Shift: Rotation 50% Morning (9:00-17:00 or 9:00-18:00 EST), 50% Evening (15:00-23:00 or 15:00-00:00 EST), with 1h lunch.
