Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Counselor to support recovery journeys and document treatment progress. You will handle intake, develop treatment plans, and provide crisis counseling while coordinating referrals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; CAAC certification preferred.
• CADC or CADC in progress with plan to achieve within three years.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with practicum in health or human services or related field.
• 1 year of clinical experience in a substance use treatment setting.
• CADC or licensure credentials (LCSW/LPC/LSW) are considered.
• Advanced degrees with clinical speciality in chemical dependency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Provide orientation on program objectives, rules, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases per standards.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and charts.
• Counsel patients in crisis and refer to appropriate resources.
• Refer patients to community agencies when needed.
• Participate in case conferences and reviews.
• Develop knowledge of confidentiality, methadone treatment, and credentialing.
