Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP/PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in Washington. You will provide direct psychiatric care to geriatric patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities, assessing mental status and devising treatment plans.

Requirements include WA licensing, DEA, and 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience, plus SNF/Acute Rehab exposure. Competitive base salary with incentives and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patients' mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Discuss psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Behavioral Health Solutions is looking for qualified Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Psychiatry team in Washington. Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA).
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
