Southwestern Community College seeks a Technical Support coordinator to manage events and AV in public facilities, implement instructional technology, and integrate new tech into classrooms.
Responsibilities include operating Myers Auditorium and Burrell Conference Center, supporting Extron/Crestron systems, and providing Google Meet hardware support. A.A.S. degree is required, with willingness to lift gear up to 35 pounds.
This position will coordinate internal and external groups using technology in the college's public facilities. It will also support and install instructional technology, incorporate technology use in the classroom environment, and implement new technologies in response to needs from instruction and learning. Additionally, the person holding this position will be responsible for keeping up with emerging technologies which could be used in the AV and instructional environment.

A.A.S. degree in related field.
Working knowledge of:
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Valid NC drivers' license
Normal workday, usually 8am - 5pm, Monday through Thursday and 8am-12p on Friday. Some evenings/nights, Saturdays and Sundays as needed with coordination. Typical campus environment.
