Manage all University Event Services & Student Center audio/visual requirements; operate, maintain, replace, and build audio/visual equipment and systems that support large scale campus-wide events and operations. Train student staff in audio/visual equipment, systems, and practices. Manage campus events that utilize sound, lighting, multimedia equipment, and streaming. Assist with the daily operations of the Student Center and other campus event spaces.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Communication, Media, and Theater Arts, or other education or related degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
Three years of demonstrated professional experience in audio/visual production is required.
Three years of professional experience in customer service is required.
Three years of progressively responsible experience in large events, conferences in a fast-paced multi-faced facility environment is required.
Proven knowledge and experience in computer programming and coding is required.
Proven experience to relate effectively, to program for and/or manage diverse groups of staff, college student employees is required.
Demonstrated extensive competency in building, operating, and maintaining built-in audio/visual systems in a commercial space including; lighting, sound, video, and streaming is required.
Ability to lift moderately heavy equipment is required.
Good oral and written communication skills are required.
Must be willing to work irregular and flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
