Job summary

CoreEvents in Houston is seeking an Account Manager – Events to oversee staffing operations from scheduling through on-site execution. You will be the primary link between clients, recruiters, and event staff to ensure accurate staffing and excellent service.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in event staffing or hospitality, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced environment. This role requires local market availability.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of staffing leadership or team coordination experience.
• Previous event staffing experience is required.
• Experience in hospitality, event operations, venue management, or high-volume staffing is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple events and manage changing staffing requirements.
• Experience working with recruiters, temporary workers, and on-site teams.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to client service and operational execution.
• Familiarity with staffing systems, scheduling tools, and workforce dashboards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staffing Coordination: Partner with recruiters to ensure events are adequately staffed and schedules are completed accurately and on time.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with clients, monitor satisfaction, and promptly resolve service issues.
• Event Operations: Monitor staffing levels before events and conduct site visits to support successful execution.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate recruiters and identify reliable on-site working leads to manage check-ins, staff assignments, and check-outs.
• Workforce Readiness: Ensure temporary staff understand their responsibilities, venue requirements, and applicable safety procedures.
• Performance Monitoring: Track attendance, fill rates, no-shows, and staffing gaps, taking proactive action to maintain service levels.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sourcing, scheduling, event execution, and the overall client experience.
